West Quay NOW Open For Late Night Shoppers

 I went to Southampton yesterday to finish off my christmas shopping because as per tradition in Southampton the first Thursday in December is the start of the Late Night opening hours, shops stay open til 10pm to help us last miniute panic buyers.

It was rather suprising hardly anybody around, i felt sorry for the shop workers, they had made such an effort but hardly anyone showed up. New Look had a live DJ which made the atmosphere really good, christmas decorations in most of the store, christmas songs even staff being made to dress up. Let alone the german market outside west quay, the smells were georgeous...

 

Any way the reason im blogging about this is because if your someone like me who still has christmas shopping to do and is too busy to do it during the day then get yourself to West Quay Southampton as they open til 9pm weekdays and till 10pm Thursday's..

So here is the opening hours for West Quay over December

Late night shopping from 1st December:

Mon - Wed & Fri:     9am - 9pm
Thursday:                9am - 10pm
Saturday:                9am  - 7pm
Sunday:                  11am - 5pm
19th - 23rd:             9am -  10pm

Trust me its a great experiance..

Tesco Mobile are the Only Network to provide a 12 month contract and capped usage

The mobile operator will allow consumers to pick between a 12, 18 or 24-month tie-in on any contract they opt for from today. Until yesterday, you could only get the iPhone on a one-year deal from Tesco.
Despite Tesco's concession, it won't necessarily make its deals the best value.

In May 2008, 12-month contracts made up 13.4% of the market, 18-month contracts made up 83.4%, and 24-month contracts accounted for a mere 3.2%.

However, a year later, the proportion of 12-month contracts had dived to just 2%, 18-month contracts fell to 39%, while 24-month contracts shot up to 59% of the market.

Tariff trapped

When you're stuck on a long-term deal, it can prevent you from switching to a cheap tariff, when they become available. What's more, you may also be stuck on an out-dated phone.

For instance, most mobile users who bought last summer's iPhone 3GS on a pay-monthly contract won't be able to upgrade to the iPhone 4 without paying a substantial fee as virtually all tariffs were sold on an 18-month or 24-month contract. Only Tesco offered a 12-month option.

Capped usage

Yoou can pick any tarrif and it will be capped, there will be no chance of going over the mins, txt or internet its genious....

They are the only network to do this so make sure you look at the Tesco tariffs before making your choice this christmas
